The Key Accounts Manager, Strategic Markets, is a full-time position located in our HQ in Scottsdale, AZ. This position will focus on supporting large strategic clients and developing campaign strategies in conjunction with the client and the DAS media performance and creative teams. The role requires a strong background in successful digital performance marketing strategies for B2C companies. The ideal candidate loves strategy, forming deep client relationships, and relentless pursuit of results. The goal of this position is to manage our portfolio of performance marketing clients with a focus on exceeding campaign goals while finding new ways to optimize and reduce media spend through testing new campaigns, emerging platforms or new strategies on existing platforms. In addition, the Key Accounts Manager will provide insights and best practices that will be leveraged across our media performance team.   


Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders, client and key account team members to understand client’s goals and translate them into powerful campaign ideas and SAAS solutions to help solve the client needs  
  • Responsible for client campaign development and ensuring operational teams execute per final campaign strategy and results are commensurate with client goals
  • Monitor results, analyze key metrics, and suggest campaign adjustments based on campaign performance
  • Ensure messaging and content across all channels are consistent and aligned to maximize engagement.
  • Work with media performance and operational teams to compile campaign performance presentations in order to address campaign success and any adjustments or revisions that should be made during campaign and/or for future planning purposes
  • Share best practices with broader Client Success team to leverage key strategies and techniques for our broader book of business.
  • Recommend new campaigns and strategies to help drive performance with key clients and/or consult on improvements clients can make to their digital properties (websites, apps, etc.) to help drive conversion rates and reduce friction on the customer journey.
  • Continuously think outside the box to improve campaign performance.
  • Stay current with consumer behavior trends, emerging platforms & strategies, and best practices.


Required Skills:

  • Highly creative and results-oriented
  • Expert level on digital marketing platforms and strategies including: Google (SEM/GDN),Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn,
  • Ability to develop a campaign from concept to execution working in tandem with creative and campaign execution teams
  • Experience using Google AdWords, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Google Data Studios, and Google Ad Manager.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with sharp organizational skills and the ability to hit delivery deadlines and goals.
  • Thrives as an individual contributor with little oversight and high-performance expectations.
  • Ownership mentality and insistent curiosity resulting in strategies designed to drive continued improvement in results for clients.
  • Adaptive to change and ability to wear manage multiple initiatives concurrently.


Experience:

  • 3-5 years working with clients as an Account Executive for a digital marketing agency managing portfolios of 10MM+
  • 3-5 years running digital marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or Experience in Digital Marketing with a college-level grasp of mathematics.
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent writing skills, knowledge of proper grammar and spelling.
